TEACHING & METHOD
I have a long experience of teaching singing, both in the Conservatory and privately; I give lessons, courses and master classes in Italy, in the cities of Naples and Rome where I currently have laid the basis of my teaching activity, and in European Union countries such as
France and Spain and Poland, as well as the United Kingdom. My teaching fields range from Vocal Technique and Breathing to Opera Singing, from Interpretation to Repertoire, also integrating it with Complementary Piano, Theory and Solfeggio. Elocution for singing, spoken and sung in Italian, French, English, German, Spanish and Latin;
I lived for professional reasons in France, England and Spain, and I had the opportunity to teach artists of all nationalities and levels, and I particularly care about my work on the correct pronunciation of the text: for me this is strictly linked to a healthy and correct vocal emission.
I created the motto: if you make the words you sing understandable for the audience, in whatever language you are singing, it means you are singing it well!
I believe the telematic method is a huge opportunity for our work, in terms of effectiveness, economy and immediacy; for this exciting research it is necessary to put ourselves in presence; listening to each other, breaking any barrier; there are no limits, and everything can be transmitted even from a distance, together people can achieve most unexpected goals, in profound respect for those who open the deepest door of themselves, that is to their sound, which in the process becomes: Singing.
You just need to have an effective method, great experience and a consequent clarity of intentions and skills and above all, a great passion for sharing what you love.
I will never be able to express my gratitude enough to the many students who have given me the gift of this great privilege: their trust.
The cornerstone of my "vocal" life was Fedora Barbieri.
The way she welcomed me will be forever rooted in my memory when, as a very young aspiring singing student, I knocked on her door for the first "audition" of my life.
She opened me the door herself, splendid, in a casual outfit, smiling, vibrant and welcoming!
My first, great and immeasurable Teacher and Friend.
My first "conscious" sounds were born with her, in her house in Florence, where for years I spent hours and hours studying every possible detail and nuance of the voice and the art that governs it.
Under her guidance and closeness to her loving and "bursting" nature I managed to pass the demanding journey from student to singer.
I owe her a lot. She lives and dwells in my Singing and in my Heart: which are one and unified thing.
